| Welling Holding Limited is a company owned by Midea Group Co., Ltd. and listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Stock Code : HK00382). It is specialized in the research and development and manufacture of motors and its driving system. The motor products as developed and manufactured by Welling are widely applied in air-conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, dish-washers, small size home appliances and vehicles etc.
The Company has five major manufacturing bases for its motor products which are located in Shunde Guangdong, Wuhu Anhui, Hefei Anhui and Huaian Jiangsu and Changzhou Jiangsu respectively with a production capacity of more than 150 million units of motor per annum. Through the joint investment with Shanxi Huaxiang to construct the Huaxiang Industrial Park, we entered into the casting industry. Annual production capacity of casting products will be 180,000 tones. Products manufactured by the Company are mainly distributed to many different countries and regions including Asia, America, Europe and Oceania. We have built up long term business relationship with cooperative partners which all are world known famous home appliances manufacturers such as Indesit, Carrier, Samsung, LG, Mitsubishi, Daikin, NSK, Sanyo-Denki, Karcher, Haier, Midea and Hisense etc.
Certain wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company including Guangdong Welling Motor Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Welling (Wuhu) Motor Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Foshan Welling Washer Motor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Huaian Welling Motor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. were accredited as high-new technology enterprises by the PRC government.
The Company has its "Testing and Certification Center" accredited by the China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (CNAL), the "Small Motor Engineering Technology Research and Development Center" with rating of the Guangdong province and the "Post-doctoral Research Station". In 2002, the trademark of Welling was recognized as "Guangdong Famous Trademark" by the Industry and Commerce Bureau of Guangdong province. In 2006, Welling's motor products were recognized as "China Top Brand" products by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC (AQSIQ). Up to the current year, the Company was granted patents of more than 100 items by the PRC government and has more than 10 kinds of its product to fill in the blanks in the PRC market and accomplished three post-doctoral development projects as well. In 2011, the Company has established the Shanghai Research and Development Centre to further strengthen its capability in technological innovation so as to enhance the core competitiveness of its products.
